The Summit Street Bed and Breakfast Inns consists of two large adjacent 100-year-old Victorian houses listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This bed and breakfast inn is located near downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina in the West End, a National Historic District of fine old homes.  Gourmet restaurants and pubs in historic buildings and antique shops are only one or two blocks away.

Old Salem, Salem College, Salem Tavern, MESDA

Going out the front door of the Inn, go right on Summit St. until it ends at W. 4th St. one block away. Turn left onto W. 4th St. At the first traffic light, turn right onto Broad St. At the fourth traffic light, turn left onto Academy Street. At the second traffic light, you will see the Old Salem entrance. The Visitors' Center will be on the right.

Salem College is part of the Old Salem village. You will see their campus buildings as you tour the village.

Salem Tavern is in the village on S. Main St. As you enter the village, turn right onto S. Main St. The restaurant will be several blocks away on your right.

MESDA (Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts) is in a modern building beyond SalemTavern on the same side of the street.
